It was a fine afternoon at Bali. Not too sunny, but the weather was dry and clear. I found it a perfect time to feed my skin with sun exposure after finishing my lunch at Cuca Flavor. So right after lunch, me and Meidiana decided to take a walk around Seminyak area, just for the sake of setting everything down, until we accidentally passed this french bakery with Monsieur Spoon sign on it.
Monsieur Spoon? It did sound familiar to me. Not that I’ve been there before but I thought I’ve spotted some pic from Instagram and I remembered how people kept mentioning about the pastries and about Monsieur Spoon being the best bakery in Bali. Lanjutkan membaca “Monsieur Spoon Bali”
If you’ve been following my Instagram (If you haven’t, shame on you! Go follow now! LOL), you might already know that a while ago, I was invited to a blogger meetup event at TWO CENTS BREW BELIEVER, Bandung together with the other #bandungfoodies.
It’s a pity that I arrived there 2 hours late (sorry guys!) since, you know, I went to attend a small ceremony for my graduation earlier that day and didn’t manage to arrive on time. Blame it on the traffic on weekend!
You know that moment, when you feel terribly hungry but also too lazy to get out of bed at the same time? Of course you do.
Well, mine happens quite often lately. The last one was last Monday and I didn’t have a morning class to go. So… I don’t know why but somehow I managed not to take a bath until 11 am and this guy named Kiki from La Creamy came over my house and brought me this cute little sampler. Thank you!
I rarely go to Sukajadi or Setiabudi area since it’s pretty far from where I live. I mean, not that kind of far that will takes more than an hour to drive, but, it’s far for me since I have no private car here (and even if I do, I can’t drive) and I have to take a public transportation instead. So when Fred came by last weekend, I took advantage of him. I mean, of his car. I ask him to take me to Setiabudi Supermarket so I could FINALLY get my sea salt, yay! Going to make some more pretzels later.
Sukajadi and Setiabudi areas are quite popular among Jakartans. There are malls and dozen of restaurants, which later I found to be the main thing that attracts people to keep going there.
Jubilare Wine and Dine is one of them. We found in Tripadvisor that Jubilare is the #1 Restaurant in Bandung. That is exactly what makes Fred don’t feel like he want to miss it this time. After spending our afternoon at Lembang, we went hungry like crazy and decided to check Jubilare out. Well, it was all Fred’s idea. He even planned it before he reached Bandung. Last Friday, Fred came by for a short visit. The only reason he did was only because of the so called Braga Festival 2013, I guess. But then… since the festival itself is a bit disappointing, we decided to give our selves a nice dinner.
I’ve heard so many people mentioning Origin House and Kitchen as one of the must-visit bistro in Bandung. They all were like : “You should go! It has a great ambiance and good food too!” or “What? You never went to Origin before? You must be kidding. It’s one of my favorite.”
They somehow took the curiosity out of me, in so many ways. And so we went.
This is it! Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner. A perfect hideaway for those looking to escape from the routine in the crowded city, Jakarta.
I’ve never heard about this place before, until my cousin tell me so. She was like : “Oh my God. Seriously? How could you not know about Ninotchka? It has been mentioned a lot in Twitter!” And I was like : “Oh really? … Too bad I didn’t know anything about it. ”
Well, yeah, she’s right. I then searched the internet about Ninotchka. I found that this cafe is run by one of the famous Indonesian fashion blogger, Sonia Eryka. Okay, I should make another confession. I didn’t know anything about her either since I’m not into fashion blog.Lanjutkan membaca “Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner”
