Finding a nice coffee shop that suits you is a struggle, especially if you’re new in town, like me. Early on my second day in Metro Manila, Philippines, I had to find somewhere to work from. Often times, we found those nice comfy coffee shops with great coffee and food but then later we found that it doesn’t provide WIFI (why?!?!). That’s sad. Then we have to find another one – and it’s a hard job, especially if you know nothing about the city and if transportation is your main problem, like here in Metro Manila.
For us, a place to work from doesn’t necessarily have to be a coffee shop, but still we prefer one. It just need to have a pretty fast and stable wifi, a comfortable seat, and a comfortable ambiance. That’s all really. Oh, plus good food.

If you’ve been following my Instagram (If you haven’t, shame on you! Go follow now! LOL), you might already know that a while ago, I was invited to a blogger meetup event at TWO CENTS BREW BELIEVER, Bandung together with the other #bandungfoodies.
It’s a pity that I arrived there 2 hours late (sorry guys!) since, you know, I went to attend a small ceremony for my graduation earlier that day and didn’t manage to arrive on time. Blame it on the traffic on weekend!

Everyone has that favorite comfort food – the one that makes them feel better (and happier) after having a rough terrible day. A dish they have been craving for weeks and can’t stand another without having some.
For me, it’s always been cake. And frankly speaking, any kind of cakes will do. But of course I have several preferences just like the others. Rule number one, cheesecake will always be on top of my list. It’s like my all time favorite cake. Lanjutkan membaca The Harvest Cakes
Bandung is one of the most stunning and unique city in Indonesia. I fell in love with the panoramic views of the mountains this city has to offer the moment I moved here. Not to mention the fresh air and the cool breeze! Many even said Bandung shares the similar atmosphere with European cities. You know, there are many luxurious hotels, restaurants, and cafe were opened. PLUS the old buildings here were designed by Dutch architects during the Dutch colonization. Hence, Bandung is known as Parijs van Java (the Paris of Java). One of my favorite activity here in Bandung is dining at a place which offers great ambiance and view, and the most important thing, GREAT FOOD! It’s a good thing that The Restaurant at Padma Hotel offers both. Lanjutkan membaca Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Padma Hotel Bandung
Legendary. That’s the only word I found best describe Kopi Es Tak Kie. This old traditional coffee shop has been serving great coffee since 1927. And it’s been run from one generation to another.
I walked slowly at the alley just to make sure I didn’t miss this coffee shop. A hidden gem in Gang Gloria, Glodok Pancoran area, the Chinatown of Jakarta.

I can’t believe there’s a new coffee shop near my boarding house which serves great coffee. Yes, you might have seen some of my photos in my Instagram, and yes again, it’s Booster Society, a newly opened (just around 3 months) coffee shop in Dago. The best thing is, beside the coffee and the food, it’s located just at the one side of the main street. From Mcd Simpang Dago, go straight to Dago Pakar and keep your eye on the right side of the street. Then most likely you will find Booster Society easily.

I am always on the hunt for good coffee, but living in Bandung left me a very limited choices – I mean, compared to Bali and Jakarta. I did tried Two Cents Brew Believer several weeks ago and was completely happy for the coffee they offer.
But then another place attracts me. Yup, it’s Two Hands Full. Well, I used to get Two Cents and Two Hands Full mixed up.
Anyway, Two Hands Full was opened around the end of 2013. And since then, I’ve always heard the buzz about this place from friends and people on Instagram. A friend of mine once told me about this place. They serve the best coffee in town, he said. And he’s true!

If you’ve been following my Instagram, or even better, if you know me personally, you might already noticed that I am such a coffee addict. I think my parents should be proud of me because I’m addicted to coffee, not to drugs.
Anyway, I ALWAYS have my coffee first thing in the morning. It’s a black strong one. And it’s peaberry coffee – if you know what I’m talking about. Even if I wake up late, I somehow still managed to brew my morning coffee, by any chance. Believe it or not? I’d rather be late than to skip my morning routine. I found, that without the kick from the coffee, I have difficulty doing my activity, even the simple one like…. walking to class. Ha!
