Fukuzushi, Bandung

If there’s one particular food that I keep craving for, that would be Japanese Food – no need to think twice. So right after coming back home to Bandung after my short trip to Bali early this month (will write more about it later!), I went to Fukuzushi with @nakamajem, just for the sake of fulfilling my cravings.Lanjutkan membaca “Fukuzushi, Bandung”

A Year in Review : 2014

As another year winds up, I take a look back at the past 12 months I’ve passed. And looking back, there’s nothing more I could feel beside being grateful. I just can’t believe that I came across this time faster. It’s way faster than I thought, indeed. But in so many ways, 2014 has been one of my best year. It was so full of challenges, laughter, tears, stress, works, struggles, and surprises. It got its ups and downs. But it was a big sweet one.

Now here we are at the very end of 2014. So here’s a little look back at the amazing year!

Let’s be grateful, as we’ve just lived one year more.

Making Cocktail at Spanky’s!

There is always something exciting about going out for lunch meeting new friends, especially when you got to meet some new blogger friends you already knew from a long time ago on Instagram but yet never got a chance to meet them. Oh yeah, social media rocks!

That’s what I felt last weekend when I got to attend Zomato meetup where we, Indonesian food bloggers, learned how to make cocktail and martini at Spanky’s Ribs and Martini, Kemang Jakarta.

Halloween at Enoshima

I know that Halloween’s been over for nearly two weeks now and that soon Christmas is coming. And I know that it’s way too late to post something Halloween-related. But never mind, I’m still gonna post it anyway. So last Halloween, which also makes my first time celebrating Halloween like, EVER, I had a lil ‘party’ at Enoshima with dearest #BandungFoodies friends. Like any other people, we were supposed to wear costumes, but turned out everyone seemed to be busy before the dinner so we all decided just to wear a couple of accessories except for one guy…. which did the makeup himself and made him look like, this.Lanjutkan membaca “Halloween at Enoshima”

Lunch Buffet at Sheraton Bandung

You know that moment when you live in a highland area and missing the view and the feel of summer at the exotic island? That’s exactly what I’ve been feeling recently! I can’t believe it’s been over a year since my stay in Bali last year and how I MISS IT SO MUCH until just last weekend, I went to Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bandung for a lunch.

I thought it’s just another luxurious 5-star hotel with a high building, clean neat comfy rooms and spacious lobby with sparkling lighting, because you know, from outside, the hotel look just like a normal building. I mean, it’s white building, with some fountains and green freshly cut grass around the path way. But turned out, I was wrong! Lanjutkan membaca “Lunch Buffet at Sheraton Bandung”

Javana Bistro, Bandung

I bet everyone knows what Paris Van Java is. Yes, it’s the hippest semi-outdoor mall in the city, the place people usually go out with a bunch of friends or family, either for dining out, watching a movie, or just walking around shopping.

Often times, I found it confusing to find a good place for dining in Paris Van Java. And lucky me, just a while ago, me and @makanpakereceh were invited by JAVANA BISTRO for a late lunch / early dinner. I never went to JAVANA BISTRO before since I thought it’s just some random expensive restaurant, but turned out, I was totally wrong. You’ll find out why later 😉Lanjutkan membaca “Javana Bistro, Bandung”

Hakata Ikkousha, Bandung

If there’s one food I can never be bored about, it would be Ramen! (And dim sum too, and uhm, can I have pasta on my list as well?). So anyway, when I heard that Hakata Ikkousha, the famous Ramen chain restaurant from Japan, opened their first branch in Bandung, I went nuts.

Well, it has actually been here early on this year. It’s just me who haven’t got a chance to visit the stall myself. So you can imagine how happy I am right now that finally, several days ago, I went there! And even better, I got great companies, the #bandungfoodies friends!Lanjutkan membaca “Hakata Ikkousha, Bandung”

Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Padma Hotel Bandung

Bandung is one of the most stunning and unique city in Indonesia. I fell in love with the panoramic views of the mountains this city has to offer the moment I moved here. Not to mention the fresh air and the cool breeze! Many even said Bandung shares the similar atmosphere with European cities. You know, there are many luxurious hotels, restaurants, and cafe were opened. PLUS the old buildings here were designed by Dutch architects during the Dutch colonization. Hence, Bandung is known as Parijs van Java (the Paris of Java). One of my favorite activity here in Bandung is dining at a place which offers great ambiance and view, and the most important thing, GREAT FOOD! It’s a good thing that The Restaurant at Padma Hotel offers both.Lanjutkan membaca “Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Padma Hotel Bandung”
