Do you believe in love at the first bite? I think you should, as it does exist.
We went here last December, just a couple of days before we left Chiang Mai. And we clearly understand what the fuss is all about.
Before we got to Chiang Mai, I did a little research about where to have nice desserts there (because, I just had to!). This place came up a couple of times and I read a lot of good reviews about it on TripAdvisor, Foursquare, Facebook, and even on some random site.
If you read my blog post last year, you might have already noticed that I was somehow obsessed with baking. (But just too lazy to do it lately). To be honest, my obsession only last for quite some time. Now I’m too excited to be back to the kitchen! And even better, this time, I got a really fancy working station with all the appliances and utensils just for myself. Just so you know, I don’t even have an electric mixer back at home, huft. So can you imagine how excited I am to be a part of the cooking class?
I was lucky enough to be invited by Kijang Mas together with the other bloggers to attend their basic pastry class that day. And I was surprised that each of us got our own pantry table! November used to be my favorite month of the year. Since it’s always raining here in Bandung and the weather is just perfect. But it didn’t rain as much as last year. Instead, I found that this year, the rain never stops pouring on December.
So I guess December is my new favorite month. It’s even better when there are Christmas tree, the carols, the cake, the warm greetings, the weather, the idea of Santa and his gifts. I love it. I somehow thinks that they are magical.

You know, morning has always been my favorite time of the day. It’s the time, the only time, when I can sit all alone, sipping my coffee while listening to the bird chirping, and thinking about everything – about life and future, mostly.
Morning is the time when I know there’s still another day. There’s still another chance. It gives me the time to think. It gives me hope. That’s why I love morning.
Whether it’s a special occasion or just a Saturday night, for many people including me, dining out is one of life’s great pleasures. So, when it comes to weekend, I always look for somewhere new for dining out. Well, not always. And the place is not always going to be a new one. This is it! Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner. A perfect hideaway for those looking to escape from the routine in the crowded city, Jakarta.
I’ve never heard about this place before, until my cousin tell me so. She was like : “Oh my God. Seriously? How could you not know about Ninotchka? It has been mentioned a lot in Twitter!” And I was like : “Oh really? … Too bad I didn’t know anything about it. ”
Well, yeah, she’s right. I then searched the internet about Ninotchka. I found that this cafe is run by one of the famous Indonesian fashion blogger, Sonia Eryka. Well, I was here because I was sooo bored & tired, and I thought this place might give me a nice short break during my hectic week. You know, that moment when you’ve been doing your college assignments all day but you got stuck and stressed? That’s what I felt that day. So I thought, “Maybe I should go to a restaurant or a cafe?
