Having grown up as a child who watched Harry Potter, I’ve always have this special little thing about Britain. You know, the accents (oh my God, they’re sexy), the Big Ben, the Queens guard, the typical British telephone booth. I know they all sounds silly. But, hey, all of them are just too lovely for me.
It surprised me that there’s actually a restaurant in Bandung with vintage British concept. Could it be the only one? Not sure.

I rarely go to Sukajadi or Setiabudi area since it’s pretty far from where I live. I mean, not that kind of far that will takes more than an hour to drive, but, it’s far for me since I have no private car here (and even if I do, I can’t drive) and I have to take a public transportation instead. So when Fred came by last weekend, I took advantage of him. I mean, of his car. I ask him to take me to Setiabudi Supermarket so I could FINALLY get my sea salt, yay! After spending our afternoon at Lembang, we went hungry like crazy and decided to check Jubilare out. Well, it was all Fred’s idea. He even planned it before he reached Bandung.

Yes, this was last year. It was November, and the rain never stop pouring here in Bandung. We were lucky the weather was so clear that day, so we decided to head over Sierra Cafe to spend our afternoon together.
We went there on a recommendation of a friend. It turned out to be as good as what I expected. It was 4 pm, and there were no customers yet. Lanjutkan membaca A Lovely Afternoon at Sierra Cafe
