“Happy birthday, Valerie!”
So this was actually my cousin’s birthday lunch. She decided to celebrate her veery special day at Pizza e Birra, Central Park Jakarta. She was actually thinking about another options like Kitchenette but then we ended up having our lunch here. It was a nice pick, really. Good job, cuz!
I’ve been to Pizza e Birra in Bandung before, but didn’t manage to take a good picture. So here we go!
After spending a day walking around Ubud, me and Meidiana decided to go back to our hotel at Kuta area around 6 pm. It’s been a long fun sunny day. But at the end, we were so tired. We walked around our hotel to find a nice restaurant nearby for dinner. It was a fortunate that we came across Nebula Room at Poppies Lane 2. Just in time before I craved myself to death!
It was Friday night and Nebula was having this live acoustic music performance. Too bad that it was already dark as I SWEAR TO YOU Nebula looks AMAZING under the daylight. It was a fine afternoon at Bali. Not too sunny, but the weather was dry and clear. I found it a perfect time to feed my skin with sun exposure after finishing my lunch at Cuca Flavor. So right after lunch, me and Meidiana decided to take a walk around Seminyak area, just for the sake of setting everything down, until we accidentally passed this french bakery with Monsieur Spoon sign on it.
Monsieur Spoon? It did sound familiar to me. Not that I’ve been there before but I thought I’ve spotted some pic from Instagram and I remembered how people kept mentioning about the pastries and about Monsieur Spoon being the best bakery in Bali. Lanjutkan membaca “Monsieur Spoon Bali”
If you read my blog post years ago, you might already noticed that I’ve been to Cuca Flavor before when I was staying in Bali for my summer internship. And earlier this month, I went back to Bali for a short new year holiday with Meidiana Kusuma from geretkoper.com. Cuca Flavor was on my list!
You know, as a restaurant which adopt a casual sharing dining experience, Cuca offer a great variety of Tapas, Cocktails, and Desserts. Dessert was amazing, I swear. We’ll check on that later, promise!

There is always something exciting about going out for lunch meeting new friends, especially when you got to meet some new blogger friends you already knew from a long time ago on Instagram but yet never got a chance to meet them. Oh yeah, social media rocks!
That’s what I felt last weekend when I got to attend Zomato meetup where we, Indonesian food bloggers, learned how to make cocktail and martini at Spanky’s Ribs and Martini, Kemang Jakarta.
After spending like an hour of cycling in Sanur Beach, Bali, Fred & I accidentally found this beach market event in Tandjung Sari Hotel, Sanur, Bali. The atmosphere at the event was so lively pleasing! There are street lights, some traditional food carts, and the most important thing, live music!

For you who have a chance to visit Bali, you should never ever missed one dinner time at the seashore. Fresh coconut water, fresh seafood, & the beautiful sunset are there waiting for you. Here in Bali, the most popular spot where you can experience dining on the beach sand on the sunset is is in Jimbaran. There are plenty of restaurant lined up in the beach. You can choose any restaurants you want because most of them sell the same kind of food.
