#HoneymoonJilidDua Part 3 – Road Trip Hari Pertama, Florence Falls di Litchfield National Park, Australia

June 7, 2017

#HoneymoonJilidDua Part 1 – Darwin

Yay! Akhirnya bisa nulis catatan perjalanan #HoneymoonJilidDua (Padahal yang jilid satu aja belum ditulis, duh).

Sebenarnya aku bingung banget gimana ceritainnya, soalnya road trip kami itu 3 minggu lamanya. Dan banyak banget yang pingin aku tulis! Kalau diringkas menjadi satu artikel, kok kayaknya banyak cerita yang dibuang yah, sayang.

Jadi akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk nulis cerita honeymoon kami per bagian, supaya lebih detil dan lengkap dan berasa feel nya – supaya kalian berasa seperti baca diary orang gitu! And then, at the end, aku bakal nulis itinerary lengkap & beberapa tips and trick (yang sampai sekarang masih aku kumpulkan) yang mungkin berguna untuk temen-temen semua. Gimana, sounds good?  Iya-in aja yah.

In Love With Georgetown

Georgetown. One of the highlights of our last Singapore-Malaysia trip. The moment we got there, we knew that we’ll love it there, right away.

A Trip To Cameron Highland

We just got back from our trip to Singapore & Malaysia. Well, it’s actually been one month since our return. But as soon as we got home, I have been busy baking and decorating cakes. And Fred has been busy with his new project. So yes, January is a pretty crazy month. And now I’m glad that I’ll be able to take two months off from February to March to prepare our wedding. (I actually don’t know what else to prepare, but I just found it a good reason to take two months off, lol. It’s an acceptable reason for most people). That means I have more time to read books, update my blog, and cook some awesome dishes!

Away From Internet and Merry Christmas!

One of the things that I enjoy the most about traveling is the feeling of being away from people. And that includes people from social media. *introvert detected* Seriously, noisy and kepo people really drains me out.

It’s crazy how my mind is focused more on Instagram and seeing other people’s life rather than enjoying my own. It’s weird that I talk to my “online” friends more that I talk to my family, who I meet every day at home. And the even weirder thing is that I enjoy all that. But at the same time, I don’t feel that it’s right either. It feels good but it’s not right.

Beijing, China. What’s not to Miss?

It’s my second time here in Beijing. I still remembered how I used to dislike this city, since… you know, I couldn’t seem to understand the language well. That time, ordering food seemed to be a big day-to-day problem to me. I even wrote about this language thing on How to Survive in China Without Knowing How to Speak Chinese. It shows how desperate I was, 4 years ago. Even worse, not only that I feel people are generally unfriendly, but I feel that they are also angry all the time. And it’s because I don’t understand the language.

So, several months back, before our departure to Beijing this year, Fred and I learned Chinese language for like, 2 – 3 months. I can say that it has helped us a lot during our trip. We could listen a bit of what the Chinese said, and ordered our food in Chinese. And hey, suddenly Beijing doesn’t feel that bad! It’s pretty nice, really.

Short Trip to Pangandaran

Pangandaran is definitely one of the most overrated yet easily reached tourist destination in Java Island, Indonesia. It’s once (and still) a fishing village which later grew bigger and bigger and became famous among local tourist who long for a sunny day at the seashore and fresh seafood in their stomach.

What’s unique about Pangandaran is that it’s located on a Peninsula, so you might find the beaches facing East and West at the same time. I mean, not literally the same beach facing East and West but you only need 5 minutes walk from the East part of the beach to the West – that’s pretty convenient (for me)!Lanjutkan membaca “Short Trip to Pangandaran”

One Day in Tokyo

Last month, I got a surprising news from my university. Guess what? I got accepted as an exchange student in TUAT Japan for 2 weeks together with another 3 students from my university (Hilfi Amri, Irfan Nurhadi, and Muhammad Alifa Farhan).

Short story, we had a free time last Sunday. And since Amri decided to go out with the other friends, Irfan, Alif, and I went out on our own. We went to Harajuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, and Akihabara in one day.
