8 Reasons to Love Pattaya

For some people who don’t like bar girls, visiting Pattaya might seem like a strange decision to make. But honestly it’s something I’d love to do again in the next occasion.

I first went to Pattaya with my friends 2 years ago. And some of the best and most funniest and exciting times I’ve ever experienced were in this big sin city.

Yes, Pattaya is famous for its sex industry and it’s still going strong day by day. But that’s not Pattaya is all about. There are lots of family-friendly attractions and activities you can do here.Lanjutkan membaca “8 Reasons to Love Pattaya”

A Year in Review : 2012

Yes, I know this is a little bit too late for posting a 2012-review. But I don’t care. Better late than never, isn’t it?

Well, 2012 has been a great eventful year for me. I traveled a lot (compared to 2011 when I went to Bali and Pattaya), I ate a lot, cooked a lot, rest a lot, study a little and unfortunately, I understand the lesson even less. The weird thing is, I’m completely okay with that.

I started the year off with a few travel resolutions, involving food and fitness (which turned out that I only did the exercise twice), and some others like ‘getting a summer internship’. Well this one worked.Lanjutkan membaca “A Year in Review : 2012”

Hummingbird Eatery & Guest House

Oh well, here comes another rainy day. I love the fact that the rain never stop pouring in November. And I got even more excited when I found out that the rain never stops in December as well. But you know, weather does, in fact, affect your appetite. I mean my appetite.. People living in cold climates tend to burn more calories each day just to keep their body warm. At least that’s what I read from the internet. So I guess that’s why I’m gaining some weight these days.

… Hey, I’m just trying to made up a pretty-reasonable story why I got this fat big ugly belly.

So, to fulfill my appetite, my sisters and I decided to take a coffee time at Hummingbird Eatery, one of everyone’s favorite cafe in Jalan Progo, Bandung, Indonesia. This place can be easily recognized from its ‘bird’ theme. And you know what? Hummingbird does have a huge bird nest that covers the outdoor seats! How cute is that?Lanjutkan membaca “Hummingbird Eatery & Guest House”

Samudera Suki, Jakarta

First of all, I’d like to say Merry Christmas to all of you who happens to celebrate it. May joy, cheer, and happiness always be with you and your family. Wishing that this holiday season lights up your heart and home with joy!

So, what’s up? Hmm, I’ve been busy lately with my final exams and final projects in school. These things keeps me away from my kitchen so I can’t cook any fancy food for Christmas and post the recipe here. Too bad that I missed it.Lanjutkan membaca “Samudera Suki, Jakarta”

Madame Sari, a local traditional Restaurant in Bandung Indonesia

Speaking of culinary, most people here in Indonesia know that Bandung is one of the favorite city in West Java where you can hang out, shop, and have a good food with a reasonable price. A friend of mine has been asking her friends, who have been living in Bandung for years, about the favorite local restaurant where they usually have a nice lunch or dinner with their family. A place where you can sit for a long time and have a nice long chat without even being disturbed. Turned out that Madame Sari restaurant is one of the places they suggested.Lanjutkan membaca “Madame Sari, a local traditional Restaurant in Bandung Indonesia”

For you who have a chance to visit Bali, you should never ever missed one dinner time at the seashore. Fresh coconut water, fresh seafood, & the beautiful sunset are there waiting for you. Here in Bali, the most popular spot where you can experience dining on the beach sand on the sunset is is in Jimbaran. There are plenty of restaurant lined up in the beach. Kopi Scooter, Bandung Indonesia

It was raining heavily outside & I stayed all day at home waiting for the rain to stop. I love watching the rain pouring down. It feels so peaceful & calm. Sitting beside the window while enjoying my hot coffee will always be my favorite thing to do when it’s raining outside. I don’t know why but something about ‘watching the rain fall’ & ‘listening to the drip drop thing‘ makes me feel so powerful & refreshed. I personally love t.Lanjutkan membaca “Kopi Scooter, Bandung Indonesia”

Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner

This is it! Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner. A perfect hideaway for those looking to escape from the routine in the crowded city, Jakarta.

I’ve never heard about this place before, until my cousin tell me so. She was like : “Oh my God. Seriously? How could you not know about Ninotchka? It has been mentioned a lot in Twitter!”  And I was like : “Oh really? … Too bad I didn’t know anything about it. ”

Well, yeah, she’s right. I then searched the internet about Ninotchka. I found that this cafe is run by one of the famous Indonesian fashion blogger, Sonia Eryka. Okay, I should make another confession. I didn’t know anything about her either since I’m not into fashion blog.Lanjutkan membaca “Ninotchka Coffee Parlour & Diner”
