Neko No Niwa Cat Cafe Singapore

It was a nice cloudy day when I accidentally found Neko No Niwa Cat Cafe during my walk along Boat Quay Singapore alone in the pouring rain. I’ve read a lot about this cat cafe thingy before but never had a chance to visit one myself. So when I was about to go to Singapore, I promised myself to visit Neko No Niwa, which is also Singapore’s first cat cafe since it’s located just a few blocks away from my hostel.

Finding Neko No Niwa is quite easy since it has this catchy cat-shaped sign.  Lanjutkan membaca “Neko No Niwa Cat Cafe Singapore”

Song Fa Bak Kut Teh Singapore

You wouldn’t believe me if I tell you that last week makes the first time I ate Bak Kut Teh, like ever. And to be specific, Song Fa Bak Ku Teh was my first one! Think I made the right choice.

Long story short, Bak Kut Teh (which literally is translated as ‘meat bone tea‘) is a soup consists of pork ribs. But then later I found out that people normally eat it with tea since most believe that tea can help to dissolve some amount of fat contained in the soup. So that’s how it was named after! I supposed.

Chye Seng Huat Hardware, Singapore – Not Your Ordinary Coffee Shop

aporeBest coffee in Singapore? So they said. People started to brag about how great the coffee is, how unusual the place is. And those things just grew my curiosity even stronger.

I know.. I know… Chye Seng Huat Hardware (CSHH) doesn’t sound like a cool place to hangout. And believe me, it does indeed look like an old hardware store from outside. How could people notice there’s good coffee inside? I wonder.

A Year in Review : 2013

2013?
Oh well.. What can I say? 2013 has been so exciting yet challenging for me. It is The Year of Travel, if I can give an award to it. But of course I have my dark hours too.

After all, life is not always full of sunshine and smile, isn’t it? But I’ve also learned, that even if you have the most bitter cake in the world, you can always sprinkle an amount of sugar and cinnamon on it. Well at least, to make it tasted better.

What I miss the most about Singapore? FOOD!

Last month, I had the pleasure of taking a very quick unplanned trip to Singapore. I don’t really remember what Singapore looks like. What it feels like to stay and travel on my own. I mean, my grandma & my mom are coming too. But we didn’t really catch up together very much there. They have a plan, which doesn’t sound so interesting to us. So we (Karen, Vanessa, Valerie, and me) decided to take a walk by ourselves.Lanjutkan membaca “What I miss the most about Singapore? FOOD!”

A Day in the Movies – Universal Studio Singapore

Hi! It’s been such a long time since my last post, I know. I’m not in my holiday season yet. So, as a matter of fact, I got nothing to write about.

But wait!

I went to Universal Studio Singapore (USS) last month, in 25th February to be exact. And I got too excited! Because you know what, I could finally meet up with Pinocchio, the Madagascar, Puss in Boots, Woody Woodpecker, Shrek, the Elmo, and even Cleopatra!Lanjutkan membaca “A Day in the Movies – Universal Studio Singapore”
