Lunch Buffet at Sheraton Bandung

You know that moment when you live in a highland area and missing the view and the feel of summer at the exotic island? That’s exactly what I’ve been feeling recently! I can’t believe it’s been over a year since my stay in Bali last year and how I MISS IT SO MUCH until just last weekend, I went to Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bandung for a lunch.

I thought it’s just another luxurious 5-star hotel with a high building, clean neat comfy rooms and spacious lobby with sparkling lighting, because you know, from outside, the hotel look just like a normal building. I mean, it’s white building, with some fountains and green freshly cut grass around the path way. But turned out, I was wrong! Lanjutkan membaca “Lunch Buffet at Sheraton Bandung”

Fluffy Says Cakery, Bandung Online Cake Shop

I can’t remember the first time I got hooked with dessert even though I try hard to. It might be at the second year of uni, I guess. I tried so many kinds of desserts I never had in my hometown back then.

One problem I usually find when buying myself some desserts home is the fact that desserts are so fucking hard to carry!
I mean, you’ve got to be VERY GENTLE to them or else they might not look pretty the moment you got home. Oh of course if you own a car, no problem will come to you. But for someone who rely on public transportation like me? uh uh. Not a good idea.Lanjutkan membaca “Fluffy Says Cakery, Bandung Online Cake Shop”

Where To Eat in Bandung (Part 2)

“Where To Eat in Bandung” blog post is back! I know.. I know.. It’s been quite a while. Blame it on my inconsistency on making plan.

For those who don’t know what “Where To Eat in Bandung” is all about, well, it’s pretty much a compilation post about some of my favorite places to eat in Bandung. The post itself will mostly describes about what I like and what I don’t really like about the restaurant – if there’s any. And please note that this opinion of mine is very subjective. It really depends on my mood that day, and the service that day. You know, it all can just change anytime.Lanjutkan membaca “Where To Eat in Bandung (Part 2)”

Blogger Meetup at Two Cents Coffee, Bandung

If you’ve been following my Instagram (If you haven’t, shame on you! Go follow now! LOL), you might already know that a while ago, I was invited to a blogger meetup event at TWO CENTS BREW BELIEVER, Bandung together with the other #bandungfoodies.

It’s a pity that I arrived there 2 hours late (sorry guys!) since, you know, I went to attend a small ceremony for my graduation earlier that day and didn’t manage to arrive on time. Blame it on the traffic on weekend!

Javana Bistro, Bandung

I bet everyone knows what Paris Van Java is. Yes, it’s the hippest semi-outdoor mall in the city, the place people usually go out with a bunch of friends or family, either for dining out, watching a movie, or just walking around shopping.

Often times, I found it confusing to find a good place for dining in Paris Van Java. And lucky me, just a while ago, me and @makanpakereceh were invited by JAVANA BISTRO for a late lunch / early dinner. I never went to JAVANA BISTRO before since I thought it’s just some random expensive restaurant, but turned out, I was totally wrong. You’ll find out why later 😉Lanjutkan membaca “Javana Bistro, Bandung”

Bonjour Paris! by Bawean Bakery

Every city has that one bakery people have been going since a loooong time ago. In this case, Bandung has Bawean Bakery.

It was first established in 1946 and was called “Sweet Heart”. What a name…. But then, as soon as they moved to Jalan Bawean 4, they changed the name to “Bawean Bakery”, in line with its location. Now that’s better! Lanjutkan membaca “Bonjour Paris! by Bawean Bakery”

The Harvest Cakes

Everyone has that favorite comfort food – the one that makes them feel better (and happier) after having a rough terrible day. A dish they have been craving for weeks and can’t stand another without having some.

For me, it’s always been cake. And frankly speaking, any kind of cakes will do. But of course I have several preferences just like the others. Rule number one, cheesecake will always be on top of my list. It’s like my all time favorite cake. Lanjutkan membaca “The Harvest Cakes”

Hakata Ikkousha, Bandung

If there’s one food I can never be bored about, it would be Ramen! (And dim sum too, and uhm, can I have pasta on my list as well?). So anyway, when I heard that Hakata Ikkousha, the famous Ramen chain restaurant from Japan, opened their first branch in Bandung, I went nuts.

Well, it has actually been here early on this year. It’s just me who haven’t got a chance to visit the stall myself. So you can imagine how happy I am right now that finally, several days ago, I went there! And even better, I got great companies, the #bandungfoodies friends!Lanjutkan membaca “Hakata Ikkousha, Bandung”
