Postcards from Chiang Mai

Sawatde Kha from Chiang Mai!

Just a quick update. It has been a marvellous weeks for us and I can’t believe *well, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE* that we’re going home real soon. *sad*

Chiang Mai is incredibly nice and very suitable for people who works remotely, or as they said, Digital Nomads. True, there are a lot of Digital Nomads out here as there are a lot of cafes serving good coffee with good fair price. You just have to find the one that suits you. You know, the one with the perfect ambience, the perfect height of table, the perfect music, the perfect everything. It’s important. And it’s sooo easy to find one. We ended up having some of our favourites!

[Hotel Review] Staycation at Ara Hotel Gading Serpong

Last month, I was fortunate enough to be invited by Ara Hotel Gading Serpong for a 2D1N stay together with the other bloggers (Yenny, Soya, Aline, and Icha). The event itself was called “Blogger Familiarization Trip at Ara Hotel Gading Serpong”.

It was my first time going to Gading Serpong and the pleasant stay made my first time in Gading Serpong memorable. It was a very nice escape from the busy over-populated Jakarta!

Fukuzushi, Bandung

If there’s one particular food that I keep craving for, that would be Japanese Food – no need to think twice. So right after coming back home to Bandung after my short trip to Bali early this month (will write more about it later!), I went to Fukuzushi with @nakamajem, just for the sake of fulfilling my cravings.Lanjutkan membaca “Fukuzushi, Bandung”

Photo Essay : JAPAN

In early March last year, when the winter has faded out but yet spring hasn’t show its face, I spent several weeks living in Japan. It was my first time stepping my own feet in the country and no doubt, I was beyond excited given the fact that I could experience a new culture in another part of the world.

I did observe things during my stay. I watched how people interact with each other, how they behave, how they do things.

This post is not going to be a travel guide or a food review. It’s more like a photo essay, when I put my photos from Japan here with a short description for each one. Just simply because…

I want you… to see what I saw.

A Year in Review : 2014

As another year winds up, I take a look back at the past 12 months I’ve passed. And looking back, there’s nothing more I could feel beside being grateful. I just can’t believe that I came across this time faster. It’s way faster than I thought, indeed. But in so many ways, 2014 has been one of my best year. It was so full of challenges, laughter, tears, stress, works, struggles, and surprises. It got its ups and downs. But it was a big sweet one.

Now here we are at the very end of 2014. So here’s a little look back at the amazing year!

Let’s be grateful, as we’ve just lived one year more.

Staycation at Hilton Bandung

As some of you might already know, just exactly a couple of days before last Christmas, I was kindly invited by Hilton Hotel Bandung for a 2D1N bloggers trip! It was definitely one of the highlights of my blogger life this year, and I can’t wait any longer to share it with you all.

And by the way, just so you know, it was a super exciting trip as I spent those two days eating NON STOP with my other blogger friends : @dunia_kulinerbdg, @nakamajem, @foodnotebdg, and @lets.go.eat. And what I mean by non stop is… literally, non stop. Like, my stomach didn’t even have a time to take a rest.

So here you go, the longest post I’ve ever written so far! Lanjutkan membaca “Staycation at Hilton Bandung”

YEAR END CELEBRATION : Wine Dinner Sheraton Bandung

So, it’s half way to the end of the year. It’s the perfect time to look back and see how we all have passed the year. Am I still on track? Or I’m just getting worse than last year? But either way, we all deserve a little celebration, just for ourselves. Cause we all know how hard we’ve tried and how hard we have struggled to be what we are today.

So I guess, Wine Dinner would be a perfect way to end the year, no?

With so many places I’ve been throughout the year, my Wine Dinner took place at, again, Sheraton BandungLanjutkan membaca “YEAR END CELEBRATION : Wine Dinner Sheraton Bandung”

Mini Travel Guide : Hanoi, Vietnam

Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is the country’s second largest city after Ho Chi Minh city. It is where the traditional Vietnamese culture blend with the French, so they said.

This city offers a LOT more than I imagined before. I went there on January 2014. I can’t believe the fact that I’ve been postponing on writing this for nearly a year! So, before these precious memories of mine got lost forgotten, I want to share let’s say, a mini travel guide about where to go, what to do, and what to eat in Hanoi. And not to forget, my bad experience in Hanoi! You’ll find it at the end of this post so keep reading!

I’m not a travel-expert, not even closed to be one. I don’t get to explore every inches of the city, that’s obvious. I just happened to live there, enjoying the city the way I like while I had the chance. So here I present to you, a Mini Travel Guide about Hanoi which, to you, might look just like many other informal travel guide you can easily find on the internet. But hey, mine is a personal one since this one is written based on my own personal experience. So, let’s go! Lanjutkan membaca “Mini Travel Guide : Hanoi, Vietnam”
