Baking Cake at Kijang Mas Culinary Class (KMCC)

If you read my blog post last year, you might have already noticed that I was somehow obsessed with baking. (But just too lazy to do it lately). To be honest, my obsession only last for quite some time. Now I’m too excited to be back to the kitchen! And even better, this time, I got a really fancy working station with all the appliances and utensils just for myself. Just so you know, I don’t even have an electric mixer back at home, huft. So can you imagine how excited I am to be a part of the cooking class?

I was lucky enough to be invited by Kijang Mas together with the other bloggers to attend their basic pastry class that day. And I was surprised that each of us got our own pantry table! And what makes this session even more interesting is that each of us will compete against each other to make the best cake! Lanjutkan membaca “Baking Cake at Kijang Mas Culinary Class (KMCC)”

Camp on Dago Dairy Farm (by Agritektur)

It was an unusual Saturday morning for me. I woke up early at 6, took a quick shower, brewed my coffee, and off I went to Agritektur office at Jl. Mataram, Bandung. I’ve been waiting for that particular day for sooo long. Yes, it’s the ‘CAMP ON FARM’ day!

As you can guess from the name of the event, we were having a camp at Dago Dairy Farm that day. It’s a lovely local farm at the north side of Bandung, in Buniwangi Wetan area.

Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Padma Hotel Bandung

Bandung is one of the most stunning and unique city in Indonesia. I fell in love with the panoramic views of the mountains this city has to offer the moment I moved here. Not to mention the fresh air and the cool breeze! Many even said Bandung shares the similar atmosphere with European cities. You know, there are many luxurious hotels, restaurants, and cafe were opened. PLUS the old buildings here were designed by Dutch architects during the Dutch colonization. Hence, Bandung is known as Parijs van Java (the Paris of Java). One of my favorite activity here in Bandung is dining at a place which offers great ambiance and view, and the most important thing, GREAT FOOD! It’s a good thing that The Restaurant at Padma Hotel offers both.Lanjutkan membaca “Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Padma Hotel Bandung”

Where To Eat in Bandung (Part 1)

Now, let’s talk about everyone’s favorite topic : FOOD!

This post is gonna be a little bit longer that usual since this one is a compilation post about some of my favorite places to eat in Bandung. You know, I’m to lazy to write an individual post for each restaurant review, that’s why I wrote this one. The good thing is, there will be more compilation post to come!

The post itself will mostly describes about what I like and what I don’t really like about the restaurant – if there’s any. And please note that this opinion of mine is very subjective. It really depends on my mood that day, and the service that day. You know, it all can just change anytime.

Okay! So, this time, I’m gonna feature some of the well known Restaurant and Cafe in Bandung, which are not exactly cheap in pricing, but I found these places to be very cozy and kinda fancy for a romantic dinner and surely not a place you want to miss in Bandung. Who’s got a date anyway?Lanjutkan membaca “Where To Eat in Bandung (Part 1)”

Warung Sangrai, Bandung

Last week, I went to Warung Sangrai for dinner along with the other Bandung foodies.

Located at Jalan Cihampelas Bandung, this place is so easy to spot! Just walk down the Cihampelas street and keep your eyes to the right side of the street, like literally, and pretty much you’ll find it easily. It’s located just exactly beside the gas station.

Mamak Kitchen, Bandung

Have you ever crave for some Thailand, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisine at once? Well, I haven’t. (Is that even possible?) But, good news for you guys who just said yes!

There’s this newly opened restaurant in Bandung which serves Thailand, Malaysian, and Singaporean food in one place. It’s MAMAK KITCHEN and located just in the same building with Heritage Factory Outlet.

Kopi Es Tak Kie, Jakarta

Legendary. That’s the only word I found best describe Kopi Es Tak Kie. This old traditional coffee shop has been serving great coffee since 1927. And it’s been run from one generation to another.

I walked slowly at the alley just to make sure I didn’t miss this coffee shop. A hidden gem in Gang Gloria, Glodok Pancoran area, the Chinatown of Jakarta.

Booster Society, Bandung

I can’t believe there’s a new coffee shop near my boarding house which serves great coffee. Yes, you might have seen some of my photos in my Instagram, and yes again, it’s Booster Society, a newly opened (just around 3 months) coffee shop in Dago. The best thing is, beside the coffee and the food, it’s located just at the one side of the main street. From Mcd Simpang Dago, go straight to Dago Pakar and keep your eye on the right side of the street. Then most likely you will find Booster Society easily.
