Remember about my last trip in downtown Tokyo a month ago? Well, aside from the busy & crowded Tokyo, now we’re heading southwest to an area called Hakone.
Imagine this : a blue sky, a lake with Mt. Fuji at the background, a red shrine gate, and of course, the mountainous scenes. That what makes Hakone area one of the most popular resorts in Japan, I think.
You know what? I am a fans of Dinosaurs – not a fanatic one, although I don’t remember each of it. But by watching their movies, their fossils, make me feel so… amazed. As a child, I often caught my self wondering and imagining that I’m living in a world where dinosaurs are still alive. Well, that’s probably why I got too excited when we visit Jin Shan Park in Bejing where the Dinosaurs Exhibition was being held.
Then, years ago, one of my friends from college told me about Jawa Timur Park 2 in Batu, Malang, Indonesia. It’s a huge recreation park which has a Museum (Museum Satwa / Museum of Wildlife), a Zoo (Batu Secret Zoo), a hotel (Pohon Inn) and Eco Park.

It was 17 August 2013, the Independence day of Indonesia, my beloved country. And it was also our last day staying in Bali since our summer holiday is ending really soon. I found this Jazz Market By The Sea thing from Twitter and decided to spend our day there.
Yesterday, after spending hours of swimming and watching sunset in Kuta Beach, we accidentally found a small food stall which sells churros – a traditional Spanish doughnut, in Kuta, Bali. Surprisingly, it’s not a food stand, not even a cafe. But it is a bajaj!
If you’ve heard people talking about Ubud, it must be something about the spa, the yoga, the meditation, the art, the rice paddle, I don’t know… And people who are looking for inner peace, let’s say, will probably stay in Ubud for like 3 days or a week, just to get the feel of the place and relax a little bit and forget about all the works & problems they’ve been through.Lanjutkan membaca “Ubud in One Day – My Way”
Going to the zoo has always been exciting for me. No matter how many animals they got in there, I just love walking around and taking a closer look of the animals.
I remember my first zoo visit in my hometown, Jambi. The zoo is really badly maintained. I’m not even sure if there is any maintenance. It’s like you would think that the zoo will be closing really soon. They only got several animals, like elephants, Sumatran tigers, ostrich, some snakes, monkey, and a couple of wild boar. Hi! It’s been such a long time since my last post, I know. I’m not in my holiday season yet. So, as a matter of fact, I got nothing to write about.

I went to Universal Studio Singapore (USS) last month, in 25th February to be exact. And I got too excited! I’ve been living in a tropical country for my whole life and I don’t think I’ll move out to a country with a cold climate. Because you know what? What’s so great about living in a tropical island is that you don’t have to wait till summer to go to the beach! This is what I do to start a new year.
