Mamak Kitchen, Bandung

Have you ever crave for some Thailand, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisine at once? Well, I haven’t. (Is that even possible?) But, good news for you guys who just said yes!

There’s this newly opened restaurant in Bandung which serves Thailand, Malaysian, and Singaporean food in one place. It’s MAMAK KITCHEN and located just in the same building with Heritage Factory Outlet.

Booster Society, Bandung

I can’t believe there’s a new coffee shop near my boarding house which serves great coffee. Yes, you might have seen some of my photos in my Instagram, and yes again, it’s Booster Society, a newly opened (just around 3 months) coffee shop in Dago. The best thing is, beside the coffee and the food, it’s located just at the one side of the main street. From Mcd Simpang Dago, go straight to Dago Pakar and keep your eye on the right side of the street. Then most likely you will find Booster Society easily.

Perky Pedro : Comidas Y Bebidas, Bandung

Perky Pedro : Comidas Y Bebidas, which means Perky Pedro : Foods and Drinks is a newly opened restaurant selling Mexican foods here in Bandung.

When my friend first asked me to grab a lunch at Perky Pedro, I was like : “Wow, Mexican food huh? I’ve never had any Mexican foods before. So, LET’S GO!”. But, we’re going for dinner instead.

Royal Stag Bistro

Having grown up as a child who watched Harry Potter, I’ve always have this special little thing about Britain. You know, the accents (oh my God, they’re sexy), the Big Ben, the Queens guard, the typical British telephone booth. I know they all sounds silly. But, hey, all of them are just too lovely for me.

It surprised me that there’s actually a restaurant in Bandung with vintage British concept. Could it be the only one? Not sure.

Two Hands Full, Bandung

I am always on the hunt for good coffee, but living in Bandung left me a very limited choices – I mean, compared to Bali and Jakarta. I did tried Two Cents Brew Believer several weeks ago and was completely happy for the coffee they offer.

But then another place attracts me. Yup, it’s Two Hands Full. Well, I used to get Two Cents and Two Hands Full mixed up.

Anyway, Two Hands Full was opened around the end of 2013. And since then, I’ve always heard the buzz about this place from friends and people on Instagram. A friend of mine once told me about this place. They serve the best coffee in town, he said. And he’s true!

Two Cents : Brew Believer

If you’ve been following my Instagram, or even better, if you know me personally, you might already noticed that I am such a coffee addict. I think my parents should be proud of me because I’m addicted to coffee, not to drugs.

Anyway, I ALWAYS have my coffee first thing in the morning. It’s a black strong one. And it’s peaberry coffee – if you know what I’m talking about. Even if I wake up late, I somehow still managed to brew my morning coffee, by any chance. Believe it or not? I’d rather be late than to skip my morning routine. I found, that without the kick from the coffee, I have difficulty doing my activity, even the simple one like…. walking to class. Ha!

Chye Seng Huat Hardware, Singapore – Not Your Ordinary Coffee Shop

aporeBest coffee in Singapore? So they said. People started to brag about how great the coffee is, how unusual the place is. And those things just grew my curiosity even stronger.

I know.. I know… Chye Seng Huat Hardware (CSHH) doesn’t sound like a cool place to hangout. And believe me, it does indeed look like an old hardware store from outside. How could people notice there’s good coffee inside? I wonder.

Revolver Espresso at Seminyak Bali

Revolver Espresso came across our little chit chat during our lunch at The Cafe at The Mulia, Bali. Diana mentioned it as the most popular coffee joint in Bali at the moment.

Since I don’t feel like I want to miss this famous coffee during my trip, Gaby and I went there for a brunch on Monday morning. Besides, the breakfast my hotel served was really awful. Even their coffee doesn’t taste like what coffee should be. So I decided to skip my breakfast at the hotel and went for a decent brunch instead.
