FIVETASTIC – The 5th Anniversary of Padma Hotel Bandung

The big day was finally there!

Just exactly 3 weeks ago, the five-star hotel, Padma Hotel Bandung, celebrate their 5th Anniversary by holding this so called FIVETASTIC. It’s a buffet dinner event featuring a large variety of international dishes. They also provide free flow wine from Sababay Winery and cigar from DOS Hermanos.

The party was more like a private one, attended by approximately more than 150 guests. Me and my other blogger friends were fortunate enough to be invited to the big dinner.

They did put this empty wine bottle on every food station as a guide for us who understand nothing about wine so we could, you know, pair the right wine with our food. It was super helpful!

We were also lucky to meet Mrs. Yoke Darmawan from Sababay Winery. You know, it’s a winery in Bali Indonesia. She told us a lot about the vineyard, the winery, the farmers life, and about the wine itself. It was an amazing thing they’re doing.

Then, we also met the wine maker himself and also the wine expert who told us a lot about what food is best paired to what wine, and that wine could never work well with something with soy sauce or oyster sauce.

There were Moscato, Ludisia, Pink Blossom, Black Velvet, and White Velvet wine.

I did try all of them, and my favorite goes to the Moscato! It’s a very fruity, sweet, refreshing sparkling one. Perfect for a celebration.

While Ludisia is the one with dark red tone, and sweet and tangy kind of taste. Best paired with red meat or even desserts.

Then, there were these ladies over here making cigar in front of us. It was interesting how they fold it into one big cigar. Never seen one before.

This event was even merrier with a Pop Jazz music performance by D’Cinnamons.

Thanks Padma Hotel Bandung for having us. I had such a great night! Once again, Happy 5th Annivesary, Padma Hotel Bandung! 😀

Btw, I was interviewed by MnC Channel in the middle of the event and it made me nervous!!!
