Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Review

If you’ve been following my Instagram and Twitter, you might already noticed that recently I’ve been posting quite a few pictures which were taken using my new Smartphone.

Yes, it’s a brand new Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, which is claimed to be a super mid-range smartphone. That being said, this phone was built using Sony’s leading camera technology, great battery power management (mine last for about 2 days!), a beautiful waterproof sleek design (yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is a one damn waterproof smartphone and it looks just exactly like those Xperia Z series!) with an affordable price. If I’m not mistaken, it’s currently being sold at USD 399.

Now, I’m gonna explain a bit about my 3 FAVORITES FEATURES from this phone.

POINT-AND-SHOOT

To be honest, I rarely post a picture which is taken using my phones. I always use my camera which happens to be another satisfying product from Sony. *all hail, Sony* But, Sony Xperia M4 provides this easy-to-use camera I can hardly ignore. There’s this feature which allows you to just simply point a spot in your screen using your finger, and it will automatically take the picture for you. How convenient! You don’t have to press the shutter button.

And for those who wonder, this phone got a 5 megapixels Front Camera and a 13 megapixels Back Camera with this Superior Auto Mode which will automatically sense up to 52 different scenarios and applies the best settings for each, automatically. Don’t be confused because all you got to do it just point.. and shoot 🙂

And look at this 5 inches HD 720 display screen. It’s so wide and makes it easier for me to take a selfie 😉 Sometimes, girls just want to have fun, right?

LONG BATTERY LIFE

My Sony Xperia M4 Aqua can last for a max of 2 days. This is very impressive for a smartphone since my old one requires more charging. I used to charge my old phone twice a day. Now I can just simply go out without bringing any power bank.

And if, let’s say, you’re out, with no power sources and there’s no way you can charge your phone, Sony Xperia M4 has this STAMINA MODE which allows it to maximize the phone’s standby and active usage time. If it’s not enough for you, it also has this ULTRA STAMINA MODE, which keeps the device running for even longer, it is said that this ultra stamina mode can keep your device running for up to 7 days!

WATERPROOF

What I love the most about this phone is that it is waterproof and also dust-tight. Rain and sunshine can’t take your phone away 😉

Of course, you’ve got to make sure all the covers are firmly closed, but that’s it. It can take pictures in the rain, it can be brought underwater (up to 1.5 meters deep for about 30 minutes max). But remember, you need to dry your phone completely before charging.
