QUICK UPDATE, everyone!
I know… It’s been like 2 months since the last time I update something on my blog. And the reason behind all those is that I’ve been busy working my full time job (still) while managing my side job which happens to be my new business. Well it’s actually my second side job as I also work as a freelance photographer. (Can you imagine how I live my life?! It’s pretty frustrating, sometimes)
So anyway, 2 months ago, I decided to start selling cakes, cupcakes, and even some breads online. The business itself is still very small, like it will never be enough for a living, but it’s constantly growing, I can see it.
Normally, I will wake early at around 4, or 5 or 6, depending on the orders that day. Then I’ll prepare the cakes, deliver it, and I’ll continue working on the main job until just around 5 or 6 PM, then I’ll return home, and mess around my kitchen again.
Life has never been this busy. My days have never been this fully scheduled. And yet it has never been this exciting as well. Well maybe it has, but this is a new kind of excitement to me. More like a challenging one.
One problem is that I have no background in culinary. I don’t even have the minimum skill required for working in a professional kitchen. But this just happens to be my passion, the one I’m willing to explore more. I constantly learn, each day, mostly from Youtube. Because.. well, it’s free, that’s one. And of course because of the flexibility it offers. There are a lot of great bakers out there, from around the world who have been so kind to share what they know, how to they do things. It’s just a great source to learn. And once you get the hang of this stuffs, you’ll pretty much learn way faster.

I’m really looking forward to the next work which will be even more challenging. Maybe I’ll make some cooking show video on Youtube someday, who knows? But anyway, until next time!
