Last month has been marvellous, I should say. Our (almost) one month stay in Chiang Mai was anything but stressful. I can see why there are a lot of Digital Nomads staying in that small city – It’s hassle free, it offers a lot of cheap amazing food, the internet connection is mostly reliable and fast as well, compared to what we usually get in Indonesia – it’s twice as fast I think. And as a result, we spent way much time focusing on our work, rather than wasting our energy on the bad traffic and any other small things that bother us, every single day.
We don’t need to wait for lunch time just to have our lunch. We eat when we feel hungry. We can easily get several cup of good coffee everyday, instead of those crappy coffee available in the office. In short, we got a much much better quality of life. It’s just… incredible.
So anyway, one of our favourite place to work here in Chiang Mai is in Roll Me Bakery. Susan and Adam from pergidulu.com once took us here, said this place is one of their favourite working space as it is very quiet and it has the right table and stuffs.
Well it’s true. I mean, look at this.
The one thing that I love about this place is that there are not many people coming, and even if they are around, they’re not that noisy.
It’s not a super super spacious space, but it’s enough for up to 20 people I think. That table up there is our favourite spot – it’s in the middle of the cafe.

Iced Matcha Latte
One of my favourite beverage here! It might be too sweet for those who prefer the bitter taste of Matcha, but man, I hate it. I mean like the one I had in 9th Street Cafe, it has this very strong Matcha flavour and very little milk / sugar in it. Definitely not for me.

Hot Thai Tea
When in Thai, drink as much Thai Tea as you can!
Japanese Cheesecake
I have never, once in my life, had Japanese Cheesecake before. I don’t know, it’s different with New York cheesecake, for sure. It’s not as dense. In fact, It’s a lot lighter but it still has this tangy flavour from the cream cheese. Love it. It doesn’t feel heavy on your tongue, but it definitely makes you happy. (What?)

Coffee, anyone?

We’ve been here several times, more than 5 times, for sure. Maybe 8 times? I don’t know. And it still has that perfect ambience we love, every time.
Maybe we’ll come back next year? Who knows.
