If you are an Indonesian, you must be familiar with the term Angkringan. Yes, it’s derived from Javanese word Angkring which means sit and relax.
Angkringan refers to a place which sells traditional foods and beverages commonly found in each side of the street in Central Java and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It’s famous for its cheap food price and for it’s coffee.
But here in Bandung, there’s a new modern Angkringan in Dago Street. Although the price is much more expensive compared to the original Angkringan in Yogyakarta, this place offers something more. I had a great time having my lunch here.

I ordered a set of Nasi Timbel for IDR 30.000. Too bad that the sambal (a.k.a chili sauce) is too spicy for me.
Most of the food they sell here is Indonesian food, but not for the drink.
I ordered Lychee Mojito (without alchohol. So it should be called Mocktail, perhaps?)

Served with a lot of ice cubes, the mojito is just hilaaaarious. I love how the lychee & the mint leaves blend.
